Situated directly along Pacific Coast Highway, is a beachfront fire-rebuild of a single-family residence lost in the Palisades Fire. The project embraces a like-for-like replacement strategy, preserving the original home’s scale, massing, and relationship to the coastline while integrating modern structural systems and current coastal development requirements.
Positioned on one of Malibu’s most sought-after oceanfront corridors, the design responds to the unique challenges of beachfront construction—balancing resilience, durability, and environmental sensitivity. The architecture reflects Ocean Point Development’s signature coastal-modern language, emphasizing clean lines, natural materials, and a strong indoor-outdoor connection. Expansive glazing and open living spaces frame unobstructed views of the Pacific, while maintaining the intimate scale and character of the original residence.
